Pavlova is a traditional New Zealand dessert, and is particularly popular at Christmas time. For generations, kiwis have been serving up pavlova at any and every special occasion. The white dessert is fondly referred to as 'pav'. Ask any New Zealander what a pav is, and they are sure to know the answer.
